The Embassy Dancesport Championships and Dance Sport World Cup will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine, California. This is about five minutes away from the Orange County Airport.
This open to the world competition is a multi-category event attracting dancers from multiple countries. It is sanction by the NDCA, USA Dance, IDSF and the Pro-Dancesport Series.

The United States Dance Championships on September 7-11, 2010 will be held at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal in Orlando, FL. The Orlando metro area has a population of about 2 million and is the home of SeaWorld Orlando and the Universal Orlando Resort. If you do decide to visit these attractions, plan on spending the whole day and bring your sunscreen as well.

The Windy City Open will be held September 3-5 at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. Top Teacher award need a minimum of 200 entries
Near the event are the Sears Tower, Wrigley’s Field and the Art Institute of Chicago to name a few.

Tatiana & Werner made it all the way to the finals in the Open Professional International Latin category at the Empire State Dancesport Championships that was held on August 15th, 2010 in New York.
Earlier this year they won the Latin category at the 2010 American Star Ball Championship and placed 2nd at the 2010 Austrian National Championship. These coveted titles makes this couple a force to be reckoned with in the world of Dancesport and are quickly gaining respect with their peers once again.

The 11th season cast was revealed for Dancing with the Stars that will start on Sept. 20 on ABC. Here is the run down: David Hasseslhoff from Baywatch will compete against Micheal Sorrentino from Jersey Shore. The rest of the competitors include Kurt Warner a once NFL star, singer Michael Bolton, Bristol Palin , actress Jennifer Grey, the Brady Bunch mom Florence Henderson, Hills star Audrina Patridge, former Laker Rick Fox, actor Kyle Massey, and the funny girl comedian Margaret Cho.
This was announced by Brook Burke and Tom Bergeron Monday night. The stars and who they will dance with will be announced Wednesday.

Anna and Patryk are only 12-years-old but ballroom dance like the pros and proved this by shocking the judges on the hit dance show,”America’s Got Talent.” The dance that you see was done within a week. This includes the choreography and practice time.
Sharon called the dance event, “perfection” and further stated, “you nailed it.” Piers mentioned that they were the “most talented dancers in this competition, bar none.” Howie stated he “wasn’t creeped out” by their dance and he agreed with Sharon with the “perfection” of the dance.

The IDSF Taipai Open Dancesport Championships will be held October 10th, 2010.
This competition is a IDSF Open Latin and Standard event that have competitors from all over the world dance for the coveted titles and awards.
