Riccardo Cocchi and Yulia Zagoruychenko (USA) placed 2nd in the Professional Latin DanceSport competition at the UK Open Dance Championshipson January 19, 2012, in Bournemouth, England.

Riccardo and Yulia began their partnership in October of 2007 and have been a phenomenon in the professional world of Latin dance ever since. This couple did not fear anything and in just a few weeks after becoming partners, they decided to compete in one of the most difficult competitions in the world - The International Championships, in Brentwood, England. They placed 3rd which is remarkable since they were together only a couple weeks before the competition.

Needless to say, Riccardo and Yulia came out of the gate like gang-busters and haven’t slowed down any since then. Their drive, dedication, and talent have made them rank 1st in the world in the Professional Latin category by the World Dance Council (WDC).

The way they dance is nothing but spectacular and will leave you spell bound with your heart skipping a couple beats due to the excitement they can create. They are both built like fitness trainers and have the stamina to dance all the rounds a competition can throw at them without running out of steam, truly great athletes in every way.
